Delta Air International Aviation Academy ( DAIAA ) formerly DAASI is a Philippine based company organized to provide quality flight and ground training to individuals willing to make flying planes as their chosen field of profession or as a variety of leisure pursuit.
DAIAA was founded in the first quarter of the year 2001 by a young entrepreneur, Capt. Jeremias L. Testado (aged 23) whose principal ambition was to provide excellent and well disciplined pilot trainees at a sensible schooling fee.
Based on his experiences, becoming a proficient commercial and flight instructor was too costly. This can be attributed to the reason that there are very few pilot schools in the Philippines. Thus all individuals are forced to put up with their high cost of schooling. With his limited professional experience but abundant pool of resources consisting of senior pilots / instructors and business consultants in the field of aviation, DAIAA was operational with complete government and business permits in less than two months since its initial concept was talked about.
DAIAA Initially operated on a small business office with a classroom and one single engine aircraft. But that didnt affect DAIAA's clientele, for more than five years DAIAA is continuous in accepting walk-in, referred students and even transferees from other pilot schools. To date, DAIAA has moved to a more accessible and much spacious office located at the general aviation area of manila airport still directed by its founder Capt. Testado personally screens and check-outs the schools instructors making sure that DAIAA is continuing to give its highest level of training within their means with the safety of its students as their priority above all matters. In the future, DAIAA will enhance their operations by acquiring complex, high-performance, single and multi-engine aircraft for commercial and airline transport pilot training and rental. DAIAA also hope to conduct up-to-the-minute enrollment and aircraft scheduling through the use of the Internet and an online business website. Currently DAIAA offers services in three primary areas; aircraft rental, flight instruction, and aviation consulting through its own resources and affiliate companies.
